Mover Dudes’ Walker Tyler Helps Build A Ramp in Front Royal

Access Independence Keeps People In Their Homes

At Mover Dudes, we believe moving people forward means more than just trucks and boxes — it’s about lifting up our community. One of our most meaningful efforts has been our ongoing partnership with Access Independence, where volunteers come together each month to build ramps and install grab bars for neighbors who need them.

A few years ago, one of these ramp projects brought together a team dedicated to service. Our COO, Walker Tyler — who was honored as Volunteer of the Year in 2023 — joined forces with Anthony Butler of Ants Home ImprovementsCharles Harbaugh, Mayor of Middletown, VA, and Phillip, a dedicated volunteer. Together, they built a safe, sturdy access ramp that continues to make a difference in daily life for the homeowner.

These projects happen quietly, but their impact is enormous. A ramp or a grab bar may seem small, yet it opens doors — literally — for independence, safety, and dignity. For Mover Dudes, lending our time and skills is a natural extension of our belief that a strong back and a good attitude go a long way.

We’re proud that our team continues to contribute to Access Independence’s mission every month. Whether it’s hauling boxes, building ramps, or supporting local causes, Mover Dudes is committed to being there for the communities we serve.
